The Candied Yam, a Southern cuisine restaurant in Grand Rapids, will host its MLK Day community meal at the 2305 44th St. SE location on Monday, Jan. 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The City of Grand Rapids will observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 20, with several adjustments to city services.
