Hempstead hosts 2025 Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade 00:18. NEW YORK — Organizations across the New York City area are marking Martin Luther King Jr. Day with special events honoring the civil Join UJA and your greater community across New York for our annual MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 20, 2025. Together, we’ll honor Dr. King’s enduring legacy and the shared legacy of the Black and Jewish communities which have long stood together in service and solidarity. In that spirit, we’ll work side by side to give back, make a Join UJA-Federation and the greater New York community for the annual MLK Day of Service on Jan. 20.
