Come lend your helping hands and honor Rev.Martin Luther King Jr. by showing up to answer his question: ‘What are you doing for others?” Come for the afternoon or just a short time and join with Cambridge neighbors as we work together to help others. The 15th annual Cambridge MLK Day of Service and Learning will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025 (2:00 pm-5:00 pm). Many Helping Hands and partners organize one of the largest single-day service events in New England and we are proud that the event has become a Cambridge tradition. When: Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 20, 2025, 2pm-5pm. Where: Welcome Gathering at Central Square Church at 2pm followed by Hands On Service Projects at Cambridge City Hall, Cambridge Senior Center, and YWCA Cambridge. What: Hands On Service and Learning. Make Blankets & Scarves for homeless children, teens & adults. For 14 years volunteers have been coming together on MLK DAY to provide critical necessities to people served by more than 70 organizations in Cambridge and surrounding towns.
