Houston will hold its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade on Jan. 20, starting at 10 a.m. The parade will begin at the corner of Smith and McKinney streets, in front of Houston City Hall, located The 2025 MLK Grande Parade in Midtown Houston: Monday, Jan. 20 — 10 a.m., 8 a.m. check-in. The MLK Grande Parade in Midtown Houston will begin at 10 a.m. Monday and last for approximately two hours. Several Houston events are lined up to mark the day and celebrate the civil rights leader. The downtown Houston 2025 Annual MLK Parade starts at 10 a.m. from Lamar and Smith Streets, moving east. Houston will honor Martin Luther King Jr., the Nobel Peace Prize-winning civil rights leader, on what would have been his 96th birthday, with events over the weekend and on Monday, Jan. 20.
